Phil Paige

Phil Paige was born and raised in the Seattle area, and started playing guitar in grade school. He played in garage bands, and after high school played for years with buddies from Issaquah, WA who began as the band, "Yukon Jack" and morphed into the band "Pontunes",  and they still perform occasionally around the Pacific Northwest. He began writing original songs in high school, and continued to play with the Pontunes, until moving to San Diego in 2004.

After moving to California, Phil returned to his more acoustic singer/songwriter roots, and began writing and performing as a solo artist. For the next ten years, he performed solo original music mainly in California and Oregon, and in 2011 he released his first full length studio album, "Simple Things". In 2014, Phil moved back to Washington in the San Juan Islands.

He took a short break from live shows at the end of 2015 to finish his second studio album, and "Shades of Blue" was released in January 2016. the new album contains a dozen new original songs. Backing musicians include members of the Pontunes, Anna Tivel and Matt Engle.
